About The Show

Lovers of innuendo and British humor, Flying Circus fans and seekers of laughs – look no further than this uproarious play!

A light-hearted observation of the lives of the staff of the fictional department store
Grace Brothers, the play focuses on interpersonal relationships and events affecting
the running of the store.

The script is to some extent a parody of the British class system, evidenced by the
use of the characters titles & surnames, rather than their Christian names. The play
features sexual innuendo, misunderstandings, mistaken identity, farce, sight gags
and occasional slapstick. It is laced with double entendres and is distinctly a
snapshot of its time and place, 1970s Britain.
